Well, I haven't completed the overview of this book, yet, but it seems solidly consistent with what I learned in Biology 2. I'm taking the college course in Microbio in the fall, so I'm not too worried if I don't finish.
I've read 4 chapters, and the narrative is funny and full of information. Additionally, it is fairly easy reading, if you've learned about biology before. Everything is defined, so it's a great reminder, if you are feeling a little bit rusty on your biology.
I thought about taking notes, but I need to brush up on my organic chem before I enter OC 2 in the fall.
This is why I'm not too worried about not finishing.
